National Mathematics day is celebrated every year to mark the birth anniversary of legendary Indian Mathematician, Srinivasa Ramanujan. The celebrations aim at spreading awareness about the importance of Mathematics and the contributions made by Srinivasa Ramanujan, in the field of Mathematics. Department of Mathematics of Fathima Arts And Science College Moothedam in collaboration with IQAC, celebrated various activities like quiz competition ,puzzle game , ring game ,etc
On account of Mathematics day Fathima Arts And Science College conducted a flash mob to bring awareness about the day. Many quotes were displayed and importances of Mathematics were spreaded among the students.
On account of Mathematics day an quiz competition was conducted by Department of Mathematics .The main aim of this competition was to bring basic knowledge of Maths among the students .
Department of Mathematics of Fathima arts & science college in collaboration with IQAC, organized a puzzles to the students. The main objective was to being solving power and to improve mental ability to the students.
Rangoli and mehandi competition was conducted on 25 th Otober 2018 by the department of Mathematics.
The inauguration ceremony of mathematics department was held on 4th August 2018.
