A body of students’ representatives is formed every year as per the guidelines issued by the University of Calicut and Lyngdoh Commission Report. The principal office bearers include: Chairman, Vice Chairman, General Secretary, Arts Club Secretary, Student Editor, University Union Councilors (two), Lady Representatives (two),various class representatives and the Secretaries to the various Subject Associations.The college union is intended to organize most of the co-curricular activities of the college, under the guidance of the Principal and the staff advisors concerned.

The Victory Day Celebration at Fathima Arts and Science College, Moothedam was held on 14th October 2025, marking a day of pride, enthusiasm, and unity on campus. The morning session began with the Oath-Taking Ceremony of the newly elected College Union. The programme opened with a welcome address by Union Advisor Ms. Asna, followed by an inspiring message from the Principal, Rev. Dr. Shibin P. James, who emphasized the values of unity, responsibility, and student leadership. The Principal then administered the oath to the Chairperson, Ms. Liyana, who subsequently administered the oath to other office bearers including the Vice Chairperson, General Secretary, UUC, Joint Secretary, Fine Arts Secretary, General Captain, and Magazine Editor. The afternoon session featured an energetic performance by the Dilruba Team, who presented “Mutti Paatt.” Their vibrant and interactive performance created a festive atmosphere, with students enthusiastically participating and enjoying the event. The celebration concluded on a joyful note, reflecting the spirit of leadership, teamwork, and togetherness that defines campus life at Fathima Arts and Science College.
The first day of the FASC ARENA sports events was held on 03 December 2025 (Wednesday) at Fathima Arts & Science College, Moothedam, under the organization of the College Students Union 2025–2026. The day commenced with enthusiastic participation from students across various classes, and all events were conducted efficiently under the supervision of the Sports Committee and the Students Union. In the boys’ category, football, arm wrestling, and chess competitions were held, while the girls’ category featured kabaddi, arm wrestling, chess, and ludo. All events were carried out in a disciplined and energetic environment, with students displaying outstanding team spirit and sportsmanship. No major issues or conflicts were reported, and the Day 1 events concluded smoothly as scheduled.
The second day of the FASC ARENA sports events was conducted on 04 December 2025 (Thursday) and witnessed commendable participation and enthusiastic involvement from both boys and girls. All competitions were meticulously organized under the effective supervision of the Sports Committee and the College Students Union. In the boys’ category, the events conducted included kabaddi, carroms, and tug of war. In the girls’ category, the competitions held were badminton doubles, tug of war, and kho-kho.
All events progressed smoothly and in an orderly manner, with participants exhibiting exemplary discipline, outstanding team spirit, and admirable sportsmanship. The organizing committee ensured strict adherence to the rules, upheld principles of fair play, and maintained efficient coordination throughout, thereby contributing to a highly successful and well-managed second day of the sports meet.
The Sports Meet 2025 of Fathima Arts & Science College, Moothedam, was held on 9 December 2025 under the coordination of the College Students Union 2025–2026. The program began at 11:00 AM and concluded at 4:00 PM, successfully conducted with the support of the principal, bursar, Mr. Prince Francis( Sports coordinator),Ms. Asna(Union Advisor), chairperson, general captain, and the teaching faculty. Separate events were organized for boys and girls, and a total of 13 items, including races, jumps, throws, and relays, were conducted smoothly with the assistance of teachers and student volunteers. The announcement team, comprising Neethika Miss and the Joint Secretary, ensured timely and clear communication throughout the event. Students from B.Com, BSc, and BA departments participated enthusiastically, following the rule that each student could take part in a maximum of three individual items. The overall championship results were as follows: the B.Com Department secured the first position, the BSc Department secured the second position, and the BA Department secured the third position. The Sports Meet concluded successfully, highlighting the teamwork, discipline, and competitive spirit of the college.
The medals and certificates for the First, Second, and Third place winners were formally distributed on 12 December 2025 at the college campus. As per the competition guidelines, each student was permitted to participate in a maximum of three events. Points were awarded based on performance, with 15 points for First place, 10 points for Second place, and 5 points for Third place.
In recognition of exceptional individual achievement, a trophy was presented to the Individual Champions. Ms. Aswathi emerged as the Individual Champion by securing three First places and earning a total of 45 points. Mr. Sanjeed was declared the Runner-up Individual Champion with 40 points, having won two First places and one Second place.
