National Service Scheme

The National Service Scheme (NSS) at Fathima Arts and Science College, Moothedam, plays a crucial role in shaping the character and social responsibility of students. A vibrant unit of the National Service Scheme (Unit No. 333) functions at Fathima since September 2022.As a part of the college's commitment to fostering holistic development, the NSS encourages students to engage in community service and contribute to the welfare of society. The scheme aims to develop a sense of discipline, empathy, and social consciousness among students through various activities and initiatives.

The NSS unit at Fathima Arts and Science College organizes a wide range of programs that focus on social issues such as environmental conservation, health awareness, education for underprivileged communities, and disaster relief. By actively participating in these programs, students learn the importance of teamwork, leadership, and selfless service. These activities also provide an opportunity for students to understand the challenges faced by marginalized communities and contribute positively to their development. In addition, the NSS at the college helps students build a deep sense of responsibility toward society, fostering a spirit of giving back to the community.

Some key objectives of NSS at the college include:
