Yajnam 2K25 – Anti-Drug Awareness

The NSS Unit of Fathima Arts & Science College, Moothedam, in collaboration with Nilambur Block Panchayath and Moothedam Panchayath, organized the Inaugural Ceremony of YAJNAM 2K25 under the themes “Anti-Drug Awareness” and “Zero- Waste Campus.” The program focused on spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encouraging eco-friendly practices among students. The event was inaugurated by Sri. Aryadan Shaukath, Honorable MLA, who addressed the students on the importance of being socially responsible citizens. The ceremony was blessed by the presence of His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Joseph Mar Thomas, Bishop of Bathery and Manager of the institution, who emphasized the role of youth in building a drug-free society. Rev. Fr. Dr. Shibin P James, Principal, delivered the presidential address, stressing the importance of collective efforts in creating a positive campus environment.

Student achievers in sports and cultural activities were also honored during the function. The audience was then entertained and inspired by an anti-drug awareness magic show performed by Magician and Mind Designer Sri. R. K. Malayath, followed by “Sangeetha YAJNAM,” a musical awareness program presented by NSS volunteers. The inaugural event of YAJNAM 2K25 successfully encouraged students to uphold a healthy lifestyle, maintain a clean campus, and work together for a better society. The NSS Unit continues its mission of promoting social responsibility and positive change among the student community.
