Red Ribbon Campaign- National  HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

The Department of Psychology organized a Red Ribbon Campaign on 01 December 2025 in observance of International AIDS Day. The program aimed to create awareness about HIV/AIDS, promote safe practices, and encourage a supportive attitude towards individuals living with HIV.
The event began with an inaugural address by Dr. Shibin P. James, who highlighted the importance of understanding HIV/AIDS, breaking stigma, and educating the youth. Faculty members Neethu M and Dilsa Nasreen A coordinated the session and emphasized the role of students in spreading awareness within the community. Department Students Distribution of red ribbons to symbolize solidarity and support. The session was held as part of the campaign and was attended by our Principal Dr. Shibin P. James, Bursar Abraham Pathackal, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Najiya Beegum, HOD Neethu K., faculty members Neethu M. and Dilsa Nasreen A., and other teaching and non-teaching staff of the college. Overall, the Red Ribbon Campaign proved to be impactful and successfully fulfilled its objective of educating and sensitizing the college community about HIV/AIDS.
